A career built on trust.

Harry began his legal career representing hospitals, academic medical centers, and long-term care providers in Chicago before moving to California, where he founded Nelson Hardiman, a boutique healthcare and life sciences law firm. Under his leadership, the firm became nationally known for guiding healthcare organizations through the most complex legal, compliance, and policy challenges — from licensing and reimbursement to corporate structuring and data privacy. Today, Harry continues this work as Healthcare Practice Group Leader at Leech Tishman.

Harry is widely recognized for his expertise in areas such as the corporate practice of medicine, fraud and abuse laws, privacy, prescribing regulations, and state and federal healthcare compliance — topics he has helped clarify not only in before government agencies and in courtrooms, but also in legislatures, classrooms, and in the media. He has advised numerous innovative ventures that have transformed telehealth, behavioral health, genomic medicine, and aesthetic and wellness care.

Clarity. Credibility.
Practical Insight.

Harry’s work is grounded in a singular mission: to bring clarity, credibility, and practical insight to the most pressing legal and ethical questions in healthcare. Whether testifying in court, delivering a keynote, consulting on policy, or explaining a complex regulation to a national audience, Harry’s aim is always the same — to help people understand what’s at stake, what’s legal, and what makes sense.
